SMI made a deliberate choice to develop every product in-house rather than licensing foreign technology. This gave us a depth of materials, manufacturing and testing knowledge that no Indian competitor has been able to replicate — and that makes our products robust and precisely specified.
Our innovations are the direct result of unsolved customer problems — a ministry that needed a specific protection level not available in the Indian market, a police force that couldn't afford the weight of imported body armour, an infrastructure client whose building needed blast protection but couldn't be visually altered. Each innovation started as a client brief and ended as an Indian-made solution.

India's First Bullet Proof Patka/Headgear
Secure Mobile India developed and patented India's first Bullet Resistant Patka/Headgear. Registered under Patent Nos. 170699 & 170700 with the Government of India, SMI holds the exclusive rights to manufacture and market this innovative protective headgear. Since its induction, the BR Patka has helped save thousands of lives across the Armed Forces and state police forces.
Lightweight BR Steel Plated Jackets
Secure Mobile India designed and developed India's first Steel Plated Bullet Resistant Jackets, providing enhanced ballistic protection for defence and law enforcement personnel. This pioneering innovation established a new benchmark in indigenous body armour, delivering reliable protection for high-risk operational environments.
Bomb Basket
Secure Mobile India designed and developed India's first indigenous Bomb Basket, providing a safe and reliable solution for the containment and transport of suspected explosive devices. This innovation strengthened the operational capabilities of bomb disposal squads while reducing dependence on imported EOD equipment.
BR Guard Room
Secure Mobile India designed and developed India's first Bullet Resistant Guard Room, providing protected security infrastructure for critical facilities, government establishments, and high-risk installations. This innovation established a new standard for fixed ballistic protection in India.
BR Tractor & Back-Hoe Loader
Secure Mobile India developed India's first Bullet Resistant Tractor (Raider) and Bullet Resistant Back-Hoe Loader (Destroyer), specially armoured for military and police operations in insurgency-affected and terrorist-prone regions. These purpose-built vehicles enhanced personnel protection while maintaining full operational capability in high-risk environments.
Blast Resistant Tactical Bunker
Secure Mobile India designed and developed the Blast Resistant Tactical Bunker, engineered to protect defence and security personnel during high-risk operations. Built for rapid deployment, it provides reliable blast and ballistic protection for military bases, border deployments, and critical security installations.
Bomb Inhibitor
Secure Mobile India designed and developed India's first Bomb Inhibitor (Matrix), an indigenous blast mitigation solution engineered to significantly reduce the effects of explosions from suspected explosive devices. It provides rapid, portable protection for bomb disposal squads and security agencies operating in high-risk environments.
Anti Drone Exclusion Systems
Developed India's first passive physical anti-drone exclusion systems — the Anti Drone Tunnel and Anti Drone Shelter — as a response to the growing UAS threat to Indian security installations. Physical exclusion provides 100% effectiveness that electronic counter-drone systems cannot guarantee.
